Nitrate and phosphate uptake dynamics in two halotolerant strains of Chlorella vulgaris is differentially influenced by carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus supply

Microalgae are attractive for the development of environmentally sustainable processes with option carbon fixation, given photosynthetic capacity these microorganisms. Nitrogen and phosphorus key nutrients microalgal growth as well fixation product formations. These also important in agriculture, supply which is a challenge. They often lost waste streams but can be effectively recovered using microalgae made available agriculture. In this investigation, we systematically examined nitrate phosphate uptake response two halotolerant strains Chlorella vulgaris exposed to four three nitrogen regimes develop an understanding relationship between from similar habitat. Markedly differential changes nutrient were noted strains. Changes was found significantly influence Kinetics depletion observed dynamic non-linear both strains, under high regimes. This investigation provides first time clear evidence base role management microalgae, including two, significance by microalgae. will enable predictable strategies involving towards net-zero solutions, recovery streams.
